This retelling of Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew' must have been a challenge to set in the modern context. The writing was good, but maybe the story was a little lost in translation. As a feminist reader, a bolder and more unconventional twist would have pleased me more, yet it was still cleverly done.
