Ranger or cop Joe Morelli? What a difficult choice for Stephanie Plum to make. She loves them both and despite being engaged to Joe her feelings for the dangerous Ranger are becoming harder and harder to fight off, especially when Ranger decides to move in to her apartment to escape the police who are treating him as a suspect for the kidnap of his young daughter. (which is a bit of a problem as her cop fiance also has a key to her apartment). And a wannabe bounty hunter/psycho has also assumed Ranger's identity!

So many laughs throughout but my heart was in my mouth when on one occasion there was a very close call between Morelli & Ranger!
