The story continues from a 1970s high school cheating scandal that ended in the shooting death of a student called Sloane. Ten years later after the release from prison of the shooter, Fritz (student from the same school at the time of the shooting), he becomes embroiled in a blackmail attempt. At which point his parents call in Kinsey...... and it seems that the same students involved in the cheat are all somehow tied into the blackmail. Fritz ends up dead...... and so does another student that had been missing for the ten years between the two known deaths.
And Ned Lowe finally has his come-uppance!!
