This is almost the first Douglas Adams book I have read, I say almost because the other was his non-fiction book Last Chance to See.
Anyway once I got used to the humour and writing style I enjoyed this, a mixture of a detective novel with a bit of time travelling mixed in.

Now it is off to littlevoice from near Wellington.

littlevoice, I really appreciate that you decided to send your Douglas Adams collection free to me, I promise I will take good care of them until it is their time to travel again.

Kevin told me he hadn't read this one either so will be reading it after me (though he told me he has quite a pile of books to read first). I look firward to reading it, looks interesting.

Picked this one to read during my 40 Hour Read-A-Thon.. I started this one 10:45 am Saturday/finished 4:37pm.. though I did have brunch and a 2 hour nap in that time also.

Like the other books by Douglas Adams I have read this is weird and wonderfully random at times. I found the story interesting and the idea of an Electric Monk amusing.

Thanks again for the book littlevoice, sorry it took me so long to get around to reading.

Am releasing this one for International Towel Day.. just need to pick my towel and think of a good release spot for this book!
