Bought this from a bookstall in Winchester today. The owner was a transvestite, first I've ever seen.

Began to read this on my way home as I had just released my last BC-book opposite to the house where Jane Austen died in Winchester.Karl is not an idiot. He didn't like the pyramids, which is what most people have said. It is disappointing to see that they are almost on someone's back yard, next to trash.
It is also good to know oneself - he can't keep up with five fruits a day, so there is no way he could do five prayers per day.
I bought this because Innocent Abroad, of which this is a parody of, is on my wishlist. I could relate with the first chapter, but Brazil was a bit too much.
I'm happy about not seeing the TV-version, either. It must have been a series which would have made me to switch to another channel.

I would not go to India even if I was paid to do so. There is just not enough money in the world to make me want to go there. Everything Karl describes it to be is on my hate-list. I can see Taj Mahal on telly if I want to.
This was a fast read. And, sorry, Karl, but Ricky was right. "An Idiot Abroad" is a much better name than Karl Pilkington's Seven Wonders".
I saw Wonders eight and nine last week. They were in Britain of all places; The Minack Theatre and the Eden Project. Check them out, Karl. They have normal loos with doors and all.
