One of my favourite books! I came across this copy in a pile of books my neighbour was giving away. It's about time I re-read it, lol. My own stays on my shelf, but this one I'll pass on after reading.
Such a great book! I like it just as much this time around. Well-written and gripping, one of the best!
Thank you, Brookler, for this RABCK! Your generosity is appreciated. I'd recently finished Susan Cooper's The Dark is Rising series and am currently reading a collection of Camelot-inspired short stories, so I've been on an Arthurian binge lately. I'm definitely looking forward to reading this one.
I enjoyed very much Mary Stewart's retelling of Merlin's story from the Arthurian legends, and I can understand why this novel is considered a classic in its genre. I particularly liked the geographic and historic details and I look forward to read to reading the remaining books in this series. Thank you again, Brookler, for sharing this excellent book with me!
What a wonderful version of the Merlin story. A great read.
