I got this softcover from this Little Free Library in Woonsocket RI while dropping off some books of my own. I couldn't get into this one. The writing was OK, but the characters' situations just didn't interest me that much - not to mention being really depressing! But someone who enjoys romances and likes a good cry might appreciate this.
[There was a 2009 film adaptation, with not-that-great reviews.]
