Amish Adventure is a book that I've read and bookcrossed a number of times. I was a fan of Barbara Smucker's books as a kid; being of Mennonite background and growing up in Waterloo County, that's probably not surprising!

This particular copy of Amish Adventure came to me through a charity sale hosted by a local church (Preston Mennonite) in support of our community's food bank. It was formerly part of the Preston Mennonite Church library.

Since this book is set here in Waterloo Region, I figured I'd find a place here to release it! I like how, on this edge of Waterloo, you see a lot of buggy sheds in shopping centre parking lots and I thought that sort of visible blending of the different cultures within our local society for well with this book, so I decided to leave it outside of Starbucks in view of one of the buggy sheds.
