Twins, they're exactly alike, right. Mmm, not so much. While Harper and Tabitha Frost certainly look identical, their personalities could not be more dissimilar. Harper's life is messy, and frankly a little out of control, and Tabitha is all about control. Years ago, they had a massive falling out, and due to extenuating circumstances they must work together again, to sell their father's house and take care of their hospitalized mother. Old resentments and hostilities flare up and it's up to them to get through them and perhaps find some peace.
This the same location as a recent book I read by another writer (name withheld to protect the guilty), and similar theme. The other book was about friends, rather than siblings, but what a difference in readability. This one the dialogue rang true, and the writing is just so much better. I don't usually compare books, but it was a strange coincidence to read about the same location, and theme.
