Definitely sets up a unique world, one highly visual and complex, without being confusing. But the middle of the book bogs down in the endless play of video games that accompanies the quest. It picks back up again when the protagonist actually reenters the "real" world, but then devolves into an oddly unclimactic climax and ending.
