Today I found a small stack of books that I packed away at the end of 2016, and this book was among them. In 2017, I focused my reading and bookcrossing activity on Canadian literature, so when the year changed over from 2016 to 2017 I packed away some unregistered (non-Canadian) books I had with notes tucked inside for future reference. Now that my Can-Lit project is over, I am registering them so they can be passed on.

I bought this book at a local charity shop back in 2016, but I'd read it before that. I have studied the Tudor period in the past, and I find it quite interesting, so I was glad to read this book. Plus, it starts on my birthday (just 430+ years too early)!

My dad unexpectedly needed my husband and me to go to Whitby today, and on the way home we stopped in Pickering. We went to the Tudor Arms Pub, and on our way out I left this book in the vestibule, propped up on the candy machines.
