This is the third book in the Cavendon Hall series and covers the years 1938 to 1945. The saga of the Inghams and Swanns continues, expanding on the characters from the previous books and introducing some new ones. I always find Barbara Taylor Bradford's books interesting and intriguing and this one was no exception. I like the way she even weaves in some scenes with Emma Harte from her Woman of Substance series. This was a very good read and I look forward to the next book, Secrets of Cavendon.
