The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. The black sign, painted in white letters that hangs upon the gates, reads:
Opens at Nightfall
Closes at Dawn
As the sun disappears beyond the horizon, all over the tents small lights begin to flicker, as though the entirety of the circus is covered in particularly bright fireflies. When the tents are all aglow, sparkling against the night sky, the sign appears.
Le Cirque des Reves
The Circus of Dreams.
Now the circus is open.
Now you may enter.

A good read if you like a lot of imagery and fantasy. Unfortunately, not really my cup of tea.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
A wishlist tag finally on it's way :)
A Saturday mail delivery, how exciting! Thank you for this Wishlist tag keeta1, an expensive parcel to post - I appreciate your generosity.
I have struggled with this book almost from the beginning. Partly due to the fact that I have been reading it during the busiest time of the year for me (bowls season and lots of finals), but also because it was fantasy, a genre I rarely read. I was determined to finish it and I am almost done, in fact I will finish it on the tram to our meetup this morning.
A love story with a twist, full of magic and characters who never die. Just a bit too fantastical for me to believe or to ever get really involved in the story.
Hopefully the next reader will enjoy it more.
