I didn't intend to read it but - who knows? - maybe I'll change my mind. I didn't make it through Gone with the Wind, maybe I'll manage Forever Amber?...

What a book! I hated it but I couldn't stop reading. It was a kind of sick curiosity: what horrible twists of plot are ahead this wretched woman?
