While I started out on this series, I kept being reminded of Harry Potter. A teenager finds out that she is not a mundane (or muggle if you prefer, and yes the word should be uttered with a disdained sneer), along with some surprises regarding her parents and heritage. Teenagers fighting demonic creatures using stele (aka a ward) and trying to stop the big Evil guy (whose name begins with a V) before he and his followers cleanse the world of all half-bloods...

Needless to say, that similarity quickly ends and I totally love this series in its own right. The pace is fast, the witty dialogues entertaining, despite some flaws in the plot and that Clary's obsession with Jace gets as annoying as Twilight.

This is a great finale to the series. Lots of things happening, plenty of character development, and a beautiful ending. Love it!!
