I'm one of those idiotic people that says I just don't get poetry. I mean sometimes I do but often I'm just too lazy. But you've got to hand it to those poets. They write some of the most beautiful fiction. This might be my favourite book of the year or even the decade. I hope not decade because I want there to be more stories out there for me to discover like this one.

Was visiting family in Winnipeg and found this book at the Zoo. I thought this was a powerful perspective and a really vivid character.
