I really enjoyed this book. The descriptions were out of this world (ok, so I like Chocolate) and the idea of a shop come cafe, fabulous.
The story was good, though the begining a little slow and the end disappointing that the heorine lost her man and then moved on, but it made a change from the usual boy meets girl happy ending!
This one inspired me to read all of Joanne Harris's books though it remains my favourite so far.

Released on Wednesday, April 07, 2004 at A bench, The Promenade, near Salters Wharf, in St. Annes On Sea (Lancashire), England United Kingdom.
Caught the book at a bus stop. A girl just dropped it on the seat next to me and ran away!!! It was only when the woman next to me asked me if it was mine that I realised what it was.

I came across the book in St Ann's square in Manchester city center. It had been left on a bench. I have only just started reading it but am enjoying it so far.
