I got this hardcover at the Book Cellar. It's a collection of poems and stories about WWI, in graphic-novel format. (It also has a surprise: under the dust jacket, the hardcover has a different cover design, a single soldier followed by dozens of skeletons in uniform...)
Entries range from "I Don't Want to Be a Soldier," a bawdy barracks song, illustrated in very bawdy form, to Rupert Brooke's poignant "Peace". Some of the artwork is stylized and impressionistic, while some is highly realistic; Wilfred Owen's "Greater Love" is illustrated in a grim, grey-on-grey style with grisly details of gaping wounds and twisted dead. Very dramatic collection.
