Quick read despite 572 pages!
Mark Beaumont breaks the World record in 2008, cycling around the world by 81 days which is phenomenal. Detail of the places he passes through and people he meets is somewhat lacking as he has to rely on his daily log and as he was 'racing' he sometimes barely had the energy to record the all important data for the Guinness Book of Records, still enjoyable reading though. Unsure his attitude toward the Pakistan police was called for - after all I'm sure they weren't employed to escort someone on a 'joyride' so probably did resent doing it.
