The third in this trilogy, mooched from Hong Kong... It was a long time travelling, but it has arrived safely.

This was the third and apparently last in this series. I don't know if I had previously read an excerpt or began the book but put it down or what, but I was a bit thrown off at the beginning because I knew I had already read the scene at the masquerade ball, yet was quite sure I'd not yet read the book. I think I've already traded the second -maybe I just remembered the scene from Hugh's point of view. Eventually I got beyond the familiar and on the whole enjoyed the story. Maddy is a great character, Ethan is a bit much at times. On the whole it was a fun and sometimes steamy read.
