Bearing an Hourglass is the story of Norton, a wilderness wanderer who accepts the office of Chronos, the incarnation of Time. Norton is pitted against Satan, who is attempting to use time as a means to take over the world.
I didn't think that this book was as good or as original as the first one in the series On a Pale Horse, but it was still interesting and entertaining to read.

I've wanted to read more of Piers Anthony than the Xanth series. I've got 2 others in the series, but have to get the first one. Thanks for sharing!
