WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Off it goes!
Travelling the world by speaking Welsh - I'm hoping that this is the sort of offbeat idea that might throw up surprising insights.
Pamela Petro is an American who learnt Welsh in Lampeter and then decided to visit Welsh-speaking communities around the world, in the hope that practising would become easier without English to get in the way. Needless to say it always does, until her final stop in Argentina, but her account of her travels and the people she meets is fascinating.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
To be taken to the York bookcrossing Meetup, in the Brigantes bar.
An unusual premise, but good to hear about someone's experiences travelling to parts of the world with a less common purpose than others have used to excuse writing a travel book.
Pick up but forgot to journal. Reading now for Author-P month in April. Welsh and travel in one package!
My partner studied in Lampeter, so I thought he would appreciate the intro section! Passing straight on to him when I've finished - then to be left on the Brigantes shelf.
A wonderful romp through the Welsh language, reminded me of sitting in Lampeter listening to the world go by.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Re-releasing at the meet-up for the shelf. Made language notes second time around and still amazed at the places Pam was able to go (like Japan!).
