I Found this book hard going, however I knew nothing about hiking and the trail. I was surprised at how hard parts of the trail were and it gave me an insight into the rugged landscape of America. Worth reading, however I didn't enjoy it as much as I usually enjoy Bill Brysons books.

I like to read the books of bryson very much, but I don't know that book.
