So excited to find this Scalzi in the box- I have loved every book I’ve read! Thank you, hyphen8!!!!!

Scalzi never disappoints.
As always, he gives us a rip-roaring, rootin’-tootin’ high stakes adventure.
At the same time (like all great science fiction), he uses the tale to comment on our society, the state of our world today. But not in a didactic way; no bopping you over the head with it, you can totally ignore it if you wish.
Also of prime importance to my enjoyment of this book, are both the humor and the strong and wonderfully flawed female character, Kiva Lagos.
