An early book in the Wallander series. A far fetched tale - I have the next book in the series so will see what that is like!

Released 2 yrs ago (9/13/2021 UTC) at Crime/Thriller Bookbox (under 2kg), A Bookbox -- Controlled Releases
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I read this book a while ago and it has been waiting for a suitable bookbox/ring to be released.
It was a good read, interesting, however it was in the scandi genre, which is just a bit depressing so I'm not sure I'd hurry to read another by the same author.
Added to a bookbox.

Chosen from the Crime/Mystery bookbox.
The book starts out with two men found murdered in a life raft, washed up on a Swedish beach. Inspector Kurt Wallander, despite problems with his personal life, is the best man for the case. However it's soon clear that there's an Eastern European connection, and Wallandar ends up pursuing the case in Riga, which was at this time behind the Iron Curtain. Suspenseful, though I prefer more character development than this.
