On moving house, Catherine finds a book she doesn't remember buying....& it appears to be all about her - weird eh? Of course the book doesn't have anything good to say about her & her life starts on a downward spiral from that point.

I don't want to say too much as it would spoil it for the next reader but suffice to say the author of the book seems hell bent on taking revenge on Catherine - but what for? Well, the story gradually pieces together & I, for one, at first had no idea what Catherine's "darkest secret" was going to turn out to be. The story had me gripped, just when I thought things were headed one way it would cleverly twist another....& I wasn't expecting such a gruesome end for someone, enough said ;o)

Overall this was a really gripping read about love, revenge & betrayal, showing how when feeling these emotions things may not be as they first appear. A stop-up-all-nighter book indeed!
