Returned to the bookshop in Lyndhurst, that is closing, to purchase all the Women's Murder Club novels that I didn't have. Still haven't got book number 2!

This 5th book in the Women's Murder Club series seems a bit of a rush job so some of the detail perhaps wasn't thought through as well as it should of been. Strange considering 2 authors are involved. An example of this is the hospital staff allegedly gave medication to patients according to what room and bed they were in not by checking their wrist i.d. band - seems very unlikely that would happen. There was a storyline left undeveloped - Lindsay had asked to be demoted so she could work more on the coal face - was turned down and told what she should be doing with her team - but this wasn't followed up and the fall out between Lindsay and Cindy over releasing case information in the media blew over far too easily.
Despite this I did want to finish the book to find out the conclusion of the 3 cases and to see how Lindsay's relationship with Joe developed (it didn't :-(
Here's hoping more effort was put into book 6!!
