It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

I wasn't sure how much I'd like ths book. The only thing I knew about the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood beforehand was that the TV commercials for the movie looked awful! However, as I have learned from experience the book and the movie rarely resemble each other so I went ahead and started reading the book. I am so glad I did - I am about 3/4 of the way through and can't put it down! An excellent book so far - I can't wait to see how it ends.

I really enjoyed this book! It was a well-written and heart-warming story. I don't think I'll be able to handle watching the movie though - I have heard it that it really pales in comparison to the novel. I guess that is usually the way it goes.

I just finished reading this, and I have mixed feelings. I loved it at the beginning - I couldn't put it down. But then the end was a letdown for me. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was obviously expecting a lot more. And the elephant story just didn't do it for me at all. So I would give most of the book high ratings, but the end much lower. I'm still interested in checking out her Little Altars Everywhere book, as I have seen many people here say that they enjoyed that book more than this one. And if the movie is on cable, I'm sure I'll check it out just to see how they did it.

Finally got around to reading this one. I really liked it. I had already seen the movie, so I knew most of the story but it was still good for me. I'm going to see if anyone is interested in taking this one off my hands. If not, I'll set it free into the world...
