Today is Bookcrossing Day! Fellow bookcrosser, josierivers and I celebrated by wild releasing books in 6 little free libraries, and stopping by a Friends of the Library sale and we ended the celebration with a lovely desert from Cafe Strudel. This book is one of my purchases from the library sale.

I chose to read this book this month because it fit Plum-crazy's "what to read for June" them of something borrowed, something blue, something old, something new. Blue being an acceptable word. I dearly love Karen Kingsbury books because she incorporates faith into stories and her characters are "real" and learn to put their faith to work in their every day lives. This story did not disappoint. Brad is the main character, who is about to be married but he just can't put his past behind him. Although he loves his fiancee, he can't seem to put the past behind him. His father's advice is to close one chapter before starting the new one. For the majority of the book, I couldn't decide how the story would go. I loved both women and I wanted him to end up with each one. But Kingsbury has a way of making the happy ending for all concerned.
