My mom has read this before me, the very first English book she has followed through! She has often started on books that arrived at our home but it seems only this one has kept her interest (she's learning English... for already several years now)!

I started reading it last Sunday and I decided to finish it this evening... it was getting sad and I didn't want to get caught crying on the train. ;-) I really liked this book. It's the typical Sparks's novel: beautiful, sad, sweet.

I just want to add a short passage, apparently it's from Corinthians:

Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.

Thanks for sharing kab113! I will send the book further to hetku77 before the weekend.

Update: I've only been able to send the book out today (Nov. 30).

5.12. I received the book from whitehorsy today, thank you!

2.9. It took a while before I got the chance to read this book, but this year has been quite eventful to put it mildly. Anyhow, I enjoyed reading the book. It was typical Sparks's novel as whitehorsy put it - romantic, sweet and I think innocent as well. Nothing that much thought-provoking, but entertaining enough even though there were sad elements of the story too.

6.10. Mailed to kab113.
