A collection of short stories by `classic` Canadian writers, this is the first edition to celebrate Canadian short works, though with mixed results. In 1986, even the modern Canadian writers were still mostly (self) constrained with stereotypical boundaries and rules for òur`writing, and it shows. (In my opinion, of course) Still, there is some good writing here, and I will pass it on when I am finished with it.
