I was tickled pink to find this in my NSS parcel - thank you for going to so much trouble, chawoso - and also for the other goodies, you really spoiled me.
I am going to start with my old black cat Freddie who is sadly missed, then I might try my long-gone companions Mimi and Mr T, and afterwards who knows, maybe some bookcrossing cats? My fingers are itching to get started on that grey yarn, too...

Freddie is now knitted but is spread out like an empty skin, waiting for me to buy some stuffing and pipecleaners to hold his legs in position. The instructions are very clear and easy.
This is Finnegan, a British shorthair. I didn't get his nose pointy enough but we can't all be beauties. I'm amazed at how all the different bits of the pattern come together and fit perfectly, even if you don't use the yarn that's advised. Here I mixed the ball of grey cotton that chawoso gave me with some fine fluffy grey wool that looks slightly blue in the combination.
There is still plenty of grey cotton left over for another cat.
