I think my wife gave this to me to bookcross, but the inscription has someone else's name. This might help in reading the book: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Appendix:A_Clockwork_Orange
To my droog Peter, real horror show veck on his birthdnick and the best. - Dmitry
This classic novel of our time, the book that spawned the unforgettable Stanley Kubrick film, has never before appeared in its entirety in America. The original U.S. edition - and the movie - lacked the ending Anthony Burgess intended for it. Now, at last, American readers can read the version the rest of the world has always known.
It's all here then. Alex and his three "droogs": Pete, Georgie and Dim ("Dim being really dim").... "Ultraviolence" set to the strains of Beethoven's ninth.... The cruelty... the capture... the "treatment"... the strange and beautiful redemption. And the ending you never imagined.

Leftover book from my mass release last weekend. I can't think of a better place for this book than the milk room.
Found in the best place possible, the milk room at Costco. Immediately snatched it up, much to the alarm of the drones shopping about I proceeded to exclaim excitement to my wife over the find and the manner in which it was found. Serendipitous.
