Picked up at the Meet Up, thanks for bringing along
Not usually a fan of short stories but these stories from the Vinyl Cafe managed to hold my interest as the same characters keep reappearing. Witty and funny observations of Canadian life - some had me laugh out loud and some were a bit deeper and more meaningful.

I LOVED these. They reminded me a bit of Garrison Keillor's writing. I like stories like this which are about the things that ordinary people do, and all their wee foibles. I definitely want to read more by this writer. Thanks very much for introducing me to this writer!
And off it goes to the winner of the Canadian Literature Sweeps. Hope they enjoy it as much as I did. Happy reading!
Thank you very much for the book & the great Canada mapcard! Looking forward to reading tne stories.
