The third book in the Banktoun series. This one lacks the creepy feel of the first two but perhaps partly as a result feels more complex and realistic. Overall a very enjoyable series.
Posting to Poodlesister.

I've really enjoyed this series and I hope this isn't the last I hear of the characters (and Banktoun). Now reading the Christmas thriller by the same author.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Going to Cassiopeia.
Safely arrived today.
Glad to say that the series has really improved with each book. For me this was the best so far. Will now start the extra book which arrived with this one!
Oh dear, I forgot to journal this when I received it. Sorry!
Sometimes I couldn't remember who was who and which of the previous books they were in. Otherwise I've enjoyed this trilogy.
Will send to earthcaroleanne with the surprise book once I've finished it.

Sorry, forgot to journal this earlier in the week.
I’m with Cassiopaeia on this, the best in the series. From the early shocking murder of Katie Taylor we see how her death will impact on different characters in the town. Her family torn apart by the tragedy, her classmates believing they know who must be involved and trying to take the law into their own hands, her teachers coping with the shock and trying to support Katie’s former classmates. And, of course, the police who need to unpick Katie’s secrets when nobody seems to want to help them. And, what an ending! I hope it's not really the last!
Passing on in the trilogy
