Unlike most of this author's other, more serious books, this one is absolutely hilarious! I actually listened to it on audio, and Lamb himself read it. Not all authors are good readers but he truly is.

I know it is not even close to Christmas now but this book would be a treat at any time of year.

'Picked this one up from our Toronto Bookcrossers Meetup yesterday. A note to Jessibud: you say this book is reserved. Reserved for little old moi? I liked "I Know This Much is True" although it was very heavy (serious). It'll be interesting to read something by Lamb that is humorous.

Yes, this was reserved for you. I found it in an LFL. I actually listened to this as an audiobook, years ago and he, Wally Lamb, narrated. He was terrific!

When you read it, you have to do the appropriate parts with a heavy Russian accent. I won't say more. I know you will be laughing out loud...

Enjoy!
