84, Charing Cross Road

A very pretty edition of 84, Charing Cross Road. I have a first edition hardcover, but just couldn't resist this one at $3 in a Sydney, NS 2nd hand bookstore, with two cute cats, and books all over the place. 'Looked for a Peter Robinson mystery too, but they were all out. Now that I have bought this book, I think it's time to read it again. It's been years. (Helen Hanff's book is connected to a special memory for me also. On one of the book's anniversaries, some UK Bookcrossers celebrated by releasing copies of the book all over London. When I messaged one of them to ask how I could access the story on the BBC radio, that let to me being invited to a meetup at the Stamford Arms Pub, in May 2005. At that time, the pub was an OBCZ. I met some really nice people, including UrbanSpaceman and Lyzzybee.
