This book bills itself as "a joyful romp through the language and lingo of our times." Discover origins and uses of such ultramodern and cutting-edge words as "hottie," "slacktivist," and "metrosexual."
It seemed to me like lots of these words are not and will not ever become part of the popular lexicon (more like somebody made them up and used them once or twice)... but I guess that's what makes them so darn TRENDY.
