8 out of 10

My first Kingsolver novel -- I enjoyed this book very much, and it piqued my curiosity to learn more about the history of Zaire. The Poisonwood Bible was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction in 1999.

Release planned for Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 1138 Melville Street - 12th floor kitchen in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.

I'll be releasing this at Indian & Northern Affairs Canada, 1138 Melville Street, on the table in the 12th floor kitchen on Thursday morning. I hope whomever picks it up enjoys it -- something to read over a microwaved lunch :^). -- Deborah

I got this book when I went to pick up the English Patient (no, goatgrrl, you are not the only person on the planet who has not read it!) - I loved the movie so much.

The person who released it recommended it to me and I just had to peek at it - I'm tempted to put it on the top of my "to be read" stack. I'm finishing up my MBA right now, so my reading for enjoyment has really been cut back. Come July, I'll be doing nothing else!

I already made a journal entry - it's on my stack of books to be read (very near the top)
