This is not an ordinary book: it's a BookCrossing book! Brian Jacques originally started writing his Redwall stories for children at The Royal School for the Blind in Liverpool, and the lavish descriptions and wonderful dialect used by his characters reflects that. I highly recommend the audio versions of these books, where you can hear the different animals speaking in accents from different parts of the UK.
