We Should All Be Feminists

I read this for an upcoming discussion group, but first watched and listened to Adichie's TED talk which covers essentially the same material. Normally, I prefer the book over pretty much anything else, but in this case I actually got more out of the TED talk because Adichie's delivery added a whole additional dimension. I'm still glad I read this brief essay in book form, but it does tread pretty much the same ground as the presentation and is not quite as lively as seeing and hearing Adichie herself speak (and play off the live audience). It is well worth the short time it takes to read the book and / or listen to the talk. Recommended!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I am on vacation in Fort Bragg, California with my hubby this weekend to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. I thought it would be fun to celebrate the milestone by releasing books @ a Little Free Library in Fort Bragg.
Picked this up at my local Little Free Library. (Sorry, I've been meaning to log it into bookcrossing.com!) About to read it now and I'll be sure to check out the Ted Talk =)
