I've heard so much about this book .. have to read it eventually :)

This is actually a travel guide for Australia and the Aboriginal culture, and you must be interested in Aborigines - which I'm not. Thus I won't read on.

What I found remarkable (I'm about half way through), the author blabbers over pages about the mysterious songlines, but not a single note is heard. He doesn't write about songlines, rather about history and theory of songlines. An oddly awkward, barren book.
