I read Valerie's first memoir about overcoming the issues that lead her to gaining weight. It was fascinating. I felt like I grew up watching her.
This book is more down-to-earth. It showed her as a normal person like any of us. I enjoyed her small insights and moments of reflection. She's got a nice, relatable style.
