Cannot remember where I got this book, but I have passed it along to Bucklesbook. We have a family connection to John Irving, and that makes the book even more interesting. This book is John Irving's memoir of making the movie "Cider House Rules". Irving won an Academy Award for best adapted screenplay and Michael Caine won for best supporting actor. Anyway, I gave the book to my Mom and she will put the label in for me!

I have read many of Irving's books, all novels and I have enjoyed this book more than any of them. In fact I was sorry when the memoir finished and only hope he will write more non-fiction and biographies. I will take this book to the Bookcrossing meet to-morrow, Sunday, January 28th, 2018 at the Harbord Pub here in Toronto and hope that the next member to read it will enjoy it as much as I have.
