The Girl on the Train
2 journalers for this copy...
Found on my community book/case--It was an "it" book for awhile w/ everyone reading it.
Full disclosure--generally mystery/type thrillers are not my cup of tea.
Well written, moves along from different points of view via the different characters/players.
There is a good chunk of British slang/phrases if you are unfamiliar it may faze you.
Sort of like a modern age "Gaslight" but w/ the drudge of commuting & overlay of alcoholism. The core theme though is pretty sad, women/female characters who need/derive their self reliance/self worth/self esteem either from: A) Men, B) Having a Baby, or C) Both.
Holding for now.
