"Everything a beginner pirate needs to know" - being a first-time winner of the pirate sweeps, that's exactly what I needed!
The book I got has a different cover illustration, but it seems to be the right book.
Along with the book came a treasure of things a novice pirate will cerainly need, from maps (which may lead to hidden treasures) to a favourite pirate pet. Thank you very much for your generous parcel!

I'm still really enthusiastic about becoming a pirate - there is one flaw to the idea, though: the terrible thought that one could catch the blue and red hopping disease!!!

This one will make my little boy regret his avoiding of English the last two years... but maybe he'll be able to read it himself once school started and he's re-learning English.
But I'm sure I will enjoy this book in any case - alone the pictures are awesome and fun! Then I can teach my son, who is for sure a wannabe pirate! ;)

Har-Har... today I've read this nice book with my son. I've translated and explained for him and he was so much into it the first half before it got a bit boring for him.
It's really a great handbook with funny drawings, I very much enjoyed. Some interesting facts are in the book and we had lots of discussion points.
Surely this has to stay on our shelf for future reference. ;)

... I believe it's time now for the pirates to see more of the world...
