Really enjoyed this science fiction adventure about an ordinary guy named Roen whose boring life is upended when he becomes the host to an ancient alien being named Tao. Tao is engaged in a civil war among his kind, carried out by their human hosts, which puts Roen in some serious peril. A fast-paced, fun, and ultimately surprisingly moving tale. Looking forward to reading the sequel!
