A wish list tag. Enjoy.
Received today. Looks great! Thanks so much for sharing this one.
Quick and easy read. The physician who wrote the book admitted that he was not a cat person, and it showed. The book was also lighter on actual content about Oscar than I was expecting. There was quite a bit of information on dementia and Alzheimer's disease, the lives of the author's patients and their families, etc. It was all interesting -- just not completely what I had anticipated.
The book also raised some very important questions about end-of-life care and what is best for patients in terms of treatments and interventions (or lack thereof). I'm glad I read it.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Headed off to Firegirl to fulfill a wish. Enjoy!
Thank you for sharing! I've heard a great lot about this book and am looking forward to reading it. I think I have some coworkers who will be interested when I'm done as well. Watch this space!
I have to edit this to add my quick review because the book was caught at the BC-in-DC meetup. I enjoyed this, though I wish there had been more about Oscar. I feel the title is misleading. The book mostly is about what the author learns about death and dying. That, in itself, is good and interesting, I just think the book deserves another title that better describes it. Those in the medical field would benefit from reading it for the insight, but a book seemingly about a cat wouldn't lead most to it.

Firegirl brought a couple copies of this book to meet-up today and spoke warmly of it. I remember enjoying it when I read it. I decided to take these books for wild release at Crumbs and Whiskers cat cafe today while celebrating Melydia's 40th birthday.
