I think it was obvious that this was the first book in the series, a little slow to start because of giving you background and character histories. I didn't enjoy it as much as Book 2 Murder of a Sweet Old Lady. I probably won't search out the next books in the series but will read them if they some day show up.

I liked the main character Skye and her family members. The plot hooked me and I was able to read this book quickly. I'd like to read more from this author.
