Excellent book about the psychology of self-justification. When it was first published, I saw an ad for it that said it would explain, among other things, "the coworker who will say anything to win an argument." As I once had such a coworker, I was curious.
The book covers the subject very well. As a person who thinks people should have a certain amount of integrity and intellectual honesty, I found it a bit frustrating. Anyway, forewarned is forearmed.
